Refund Policy

Program/Party Refund Policy:

Please note deposits to hold a party spot are non-refundable.  Parties can be cancelled 72 hours in advance for a 50% refund.  All cancellations after this time will have the opportunity to rebook at any time in the next 60 days at a time convenient for you.  In the case of forced business closure due to government shut-downs as was the case during Covid-19, all parties will be able to be booked at any time in the next 12 months.

After School Program Refunds:

A one month deposit is taken at the time of registration.  This is your LAST MONTH program fee.  30 days-notice, provided on or before the first of the month, is required to cancel your registration in the after school program and your deposit will be applied to your last month.

Please note deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  They cannot be refunded or credits cannot be applied.  The fee cannot be transferred to other students or other programs.

Classes/Programs/Workshops Refunds:

Up to 14 days or more before the start date of program – 100% REFUND – $15 Admin fee per child/per session

14 days or less before camp session begins – NO REFUND  If we are able to fill your spot with a camper from our waiting list, we will provide a full refund minus the $15 admin fee.

COVID-Related Program Cancellation Information:  

Refunds will not be available for any of our programs this season if we are required to shut down due to a pandemic or other extreme circumstance. A credit for future programming will be provided for use within the same calendar year.

Pawsitively Pets reserves the right to grant exceptions to the stated policy in situations including, but not limited to: illness and death in the immediate family.

Camp/Program Refund Information:  Refunds for camps/programs will be made if requested in writing, by email and will be refunded in accordance with the schedule below. Credit can be obtained for the full amount of the refund to use towards another program if the guidelines are met, and the program date is within the same calendar year.

Refunds on credit card or in the form of a personal cheque are subject to a $25 administrative fee (per camp session/per child,) deducted from the total allowable refund.

Refunds in the form of personal cheque may take up to 4-6 weeks for processing. Refunds will be issued in the format they were originally paid.

Pawsitively Pets reserves the right to grant exceptions to the stated policy in situations including, but not limited to, illness and death in the immediate family.

In the case of forced business closure due to government shut-downs as was the case during Covid-19, refunds where applicable for programs will be subject to a $25 refund fee to cover processing & administrative fees.

No Refunds for Partial Program Attendance or Illness:

We do not provide refunds or credits when someone chooses to leave programs part way through.  If your child is ill due to an infectious disease/illness/virus that will put other campers at risk and will need to be withdrawn from camp a doctor’s note will be required within 48 hours of the illness and a credit will be provided for 50% of the remaining camp/program fees that can be used anytime in the next 12 month’s towards a camp program. Virtually all of our expenses are incurred before the start of the camp or program. Similarly, we cannot give refunds or credits to people who have registered for more than one session if they choose during their first session not to attend another session. (The exception to this is if we are able to fill the spot with someone on our waiting list.)

Winter Break Refunds with Notice:

Full refund minus $25 admin fee is available until December 1

50% refund is available until December 10

Credit for 50% of your camp fee is available until December 17, this credit is to be used by the end of 2021

After December 17 no refunds available

If camp is closed due to a forced government closure a credit will be applied to your account for a future program.

Extreme Circumstances:

(Someone in your family is told they have 6 months to live, your house burns down, etc.)

By all means, contact us! We’re not heartless. We may ask for some kind of documentation and explanation, and we’ll be more flexible if we hear from you sooner rather than later. We’ll consider all situations individually.

Busing or Extended Care Refunds:

To receive a refund for busing or extended care notice must be provided in writing 14 days before the beginning of your camp session.

Camp Refund Guidelines:

Summer Camp:

Time of request – Up to May 31st – 100% REFUND – $25 Admin Fee per camper/per session

Up to 30 days before the start date of camp – 50% REFUND – $25 Admin Fee per camper/per session

29 days or less before camp session begins – NO REFUND. If we are able to fill your spot with a camper from our waiting list, we will provide a full refund minus the $25 admin fee.

March Break Camp:

Time of request – Up to February 5th – 100% REFUND – $25 Admin Fee per camper/per session

Up to 30 days before the start date of camp – 50% REFUND – $25 Admin Fee per camper/per session

29 days or less before camp session begins – NO REFUND  If we are able to fill your spot with a camper from our waiting list, we will provide a full refund minus the $25 admin fee.

PA Day Camp:

Time of request – Up to 14 days or more before camp date – 100% REFUND – $5 Admin Fee per camper/per PA Day

Less than 14 days before PA Day Camp – NO REFUND If we are able to fill your spot with a camper from our waiting list, we will provide a full refund minus the $5 admin fee.
