Bunny-Palooza!

A Hoppin’ Good Time for the Whole Family!   Hop on over for a fluffy, fun-filled, family-friendly event!  Our Bunny-Palooza event invites families to step into the wonderful world of rabbits with hands-on learning, adorable interactions, and a creative twist.

Event details:

• 1-hour program
• All children must attend with an adult (1 adult may supervise multiple children)
• $18 + HST per person
• Open to all ages
• 6-8 people per session
• Registration available ONLINE – be sure to purchase a ticket for all people attending

Meet and interact with our friendly bunnies:

• Learn about rabbit care, behaviours, and what makes these furry friends so unique
• Create a take-home or donate-to-the-bunnies enrichment toy
• Enjoy a relaxed, kid-friendly environment perfect for animal lovers of all ages

Junior Handler: Behind-the-Scenes Animal Adventure 

Calling all animal enthusiasts! Our Junior Handler 90-minute Program gives kids the chance to step behind the scenes at Pawsitively Pets and experience what it is really like working hands-on with a variety of amazing animals on our rescue animal team!

Event details:

• 90-minute program
• Must be 8 years or older to participate
• All children must attend with an adult (1 adult may supervise multiple children)
• $25 + HST per person
• All participants require their own ticket to attend – register ONLINE
• 8-10 people per session

Participants will:

• Help with real animal care tasks
• Meet and interact with a variety of mammals and reptiles
• Learn how to handle and support particular species safely
• Explore how we create enrichment and keep our animals happy and healthy
• Get a sneak peek into what happens at Pawsitively Pets when the team is caring for our animals

This interactive program is perfect for curious kids who love animals and want to learn more about caring for them in a fun, responsible, and confidence-building environment. Whether they dream of being a vet, a trainer or adore all creatures big and small, this is an adventure they won’t forget.

Parrot Workshop: A Feather-Filled Family Adventure!
Get ready to squawk, laugh, and learn at our Family Parrot Workshop with Pawsitively Pets! This interactive event invites families to dive into the wonderful world of parrots and discover just how smart, social, and entertaining these feathered friends can be.

• 90-minute program
• Must be 7 years or older to participate
• All children must attend with an adult (1 adult may supervise multiple children)
• $25 + HST per person
• All participants require their own ticket to attend – registration is available ONLINE
• 8-10 people per session

Participants will:

• Meet and interact with our amazing parrots
• Learn how parrots communicate & play
• Explore the sounds, behaviours, and personalities that make each bird unique
• Create a fun enrichment activity to help keep our parrots happy and busy
• Enjoy a lively, educational experience perfect for the whole family

Fur-tastic Friends – A Hands-On Small Pet Adventure! 

Get ready for a fluff-filled family adventure at Fur-tastic Friends, where little animal lovers can meet some of the cutest creatures around! During this interactive drop-in event, children will get up close with a rabbit, guinea pig, hedgehog, chinchilla, hamster, and a ferret, each with their own unique personalities, textures, and talents.

• 90-minute program
• Must be 5 years or older to participate
• All children must attend with an adult (1 adult may supervise multiple children)
• $20 + HST per person
• All participants require their own ticket to attend
• 18 people per session

Participants get to pet, interact and learn what makes each friend special:

🐰Why rabbits wiggle their noses
🦔 How hedgehogs roll up for safety
🐭 Why hamsters are so good at storing their food
🐹 Why guinea pigs “wheek” with excitement
🦦 And how ferrets wiggle and play their way into everyone’s hearts!

Our educators guide families through fun facts, engaging enrichment activities, and surprising animal discoveries. Reptile Round-Up! 

A Slithery, Scaly, Super-Cool Animal Adventure!                                                                                                 

Get ready to crawl, creep, and slither into the world of reptiles at Reptile Round-Up! This hands-on family event invites kids 5 & up and their grown-ups to meet a fantastic lineup of cold-blooded critters, including a friendly snake, a curious tortoise, different geckos, and a variety of awesome lizards!

During this 75-minute program, participants will learn what makes reptiles so unique, feel different textures from smooth scales to bumpy shells, and discover the incredible ways these animals move, eat, and survive. Our expert animal team will guide families through fun, safe, interactive encounters designed to spark curiosity and build confidence around these amazing creatures.

Perfect for reptile lovers, little explorers, and families looking for a wild and educational outing, Reptile Round-Up is bursting with unforgettable, hands-on reptile fun!
