Does your child dream in paws, shells, scales, and feathers? Our Junior Handler Summer Camp is built for the ultimate young animal lover, especially the kids who never stop asking for a pet! This one-of-a-kind camp gives them a front-row seat to the world of pet care, animal behaviour, and hands-on learning, all wrapped up in unforgettable summer fun.

Throughout the week, campers bond with a wide variety of animals, from cuddly small pets to cool reptiles and curious birds, while learning real animal-handling skills in a safe, supportive environment. They’ll explore what it truly means to care for a pet, discovering the daily routines, responsibility, and long-term commitment behind the cuteness (spoiler: the fun part is everything else they get to do!)

Campers become confident ambassadors as they dive into all aspects of pet ownership, create enrichment and training activities, understand animal needs, and safely interact with different species. We guide them to explore not just the “aww!” moments, but also how to make thoughtful, compassionate choices about which animals best fit different lifestyles and families, and how to handle and interact with them to enrich their lives.

This camp program is jam-packed with hands-on animal time, animal-themed games, creative pet crafts, training challenges, enrichment-toy making, and outdoor adventure every day. Campers laugh, learn, create, connect, explore, and spend more time connecting with animals than they ever imagined possible.

It’s summer camp… levelled up. They get the animal time. You get the “I learned so much!” moments. Everyone wins.
