Animal Care Camp – Where Kids Become Real Animal Caretakers! 🐾
Does your child love animals and want to go beyond just meeting them? At Animal Care Camp, campers step into the role of a real animal care team member—learning what it actually takes to keep animals happy, healthy, and thriving.
Each day is hands-on, meaningful, and full of purpose. Campers will:
🐾 Prepare food and feed a variety of animals
🐾 Clean and set up animal habitats
🐾 Learn proper handling, grooming, and socialization
🐾 Understand daily routines and animal wellness
🐾 Work closely with our amazing team of rescue animals
This is more than just animal time; it’s a real-life experience that builds responsibility, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what it means to care for animals every day.
Perfect for kids who dream of working with animals one day, or simply want a camp where they can truly be part of the action.
Available at our Leaside, Beaches & Ottawa locations (home to our animal team)

All participants receive a t-shirt with their registration.
Staff/Leader to camper ratio for Animal Care is 1 staff to 9 campers.
Campers must be 10 years old as of December 31 of the camp year to participate in this program.
