March Break Camp!
Pawsitively Pets encourages all children to explore their love of pets and animals. Working with animals is a great learning experience for children, it allows them to build confidence, self-esteem and a sense of compassion and enhances their imagination and interest in learning about science and nature. Our wonderful team of rescue animals will take your child on an educational learning adventure bring camp fun, and learning to life!
Pawsitively Pets offers camp programs for campers 4-11 years old over the March Break. Under the Ministry of Education guidelines, all campers MUST be 4 years old as of the first day of camp to attend our programs.
March Break Camp is available for both public school and private school March Break in Toronto. Ottawa offers a March Break camp for the public school March Break Camp week. Early bird discounts apply to full-day, full-week programs only. Private School Camp is available at Leaside only, Public School Week is available in Leaside or Swansea.

As with all our camps, the program’s focus is as much hands-on interaction with the animals as possible each day.
Over March Break camp is available in 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5-day sessions.

Little Lambs
Campers 4-5 years old.
The program is available in Toronto ONLY – Leaside & Swansea locations.
The Little Lambs camp program focuses on allowing children to explore a variety of animals through hands-on interaction and learning.
The Little Lambs program is designed for children 4 to 5 years old to attend independently for a full day.
Children should be comfortable attending a program without their parent or caregiver to register for this program and be fully toilet trained.
The program focuses on sensory awareness, tactile stimulation, refining motor skills and enhancing each child’s imagination.
Each day, campers will be able to learn about our animals hands-on.
Registration is available by-the-day or for full-week programs.
All campers will bring a nut-free packed lunch and two snacks to camp each day.
Staff/Leader-to-campper ratio for Little Lambs is 1 staff to 6 campers.
Animal Doctors
Campers 6-8 years old
Program available at the Leaside, Swansea & Ottawa locations.
This exciting and engaging program has been designed to excite kids about a career with animals.
- Exploring animals worldwide!
- How do they survive in the wild, and how do we care for them in captivity?
- Get up close and personal with our animal team.
- How do we care for out pets?
- How do we know if our pet is sick?
- If our pet is sick, what do we do?
- What is a pet exam?
- Animal Enrichment.
- Wildlife Safari activities.
Allow your “want-to-be” vet one day to look into the veterinary world and prepare for our future Vet Explorers and Mini Vet camp.
Registration is available by-the-day or for full weeks.
All campers will bring a nut-free packed lunch and two snacks to camp each day.
Staff/Leader to camper ratio for Animal Doctors is 1 staff to 8 campers.
Vet Explorers
Campers 9-11 years old
Program available at the Leaside, Swansea & Ottawa locations.
A week full or learning about animals! The program will let campers learn the basics of animal care and careers with animals.
- Learn to take a patient history, scrub in, complete a basic pet exam, learn about animals in the wild and take part in many hands-on animal programs.
- Allow your “want-to-be” vet to look into the veterinary world one day and prepare for our Mini Vet camp.
- Animal enrichment and learning about what makes our animal friends lives physically and socially healthy lives.
This program builds off the Animal Doctor program and allows an advanced age-appropriate investigation of the animal world.
Registration is available by-the-day or for the full-week.
All campers will bring a nut-free packed lunch and two snacks to camp each day.
Staff/Leader to camper ratio for Vet Explorers is 1 staff to 9 campers.
**Home Alone Course & Babysitting Course available at the 94 Laird Drive site on select dates during the Public School March Break.
Camper Ages
Pawsitively Pets offers camp programs for campers 4-14 years old. Under the Ministry of Education guidelines all campers MUST be 4 years old as of the first day of camp to attend our programs.
All age groups for campers over 5 years old have some flexibility. If you have questions about age groups don’t hesitate to contact us.
Camp Hours
Our regular camp day is 9am – 4pm.
All programs offer open drop-off between 8am – 8:30am and open pick-up between 4pm – 4:30pm
Extended care is available in the mornings from 8am – 9am or at the end of the day from 4pm – 5:30pm.
