At Pawsitively Pets Kids Camp, summer is more than a break—it’s an adventure in connection, care, and discovery. Our Animal Explorers Summer Camp is built for kids who are endlessly curious about animals and love learning by doing. Campers spend their days engaging in safe, supervised, hands-on interactions with an extraordinary variety of animals, enjoying all things camp has to offer, making new friends and learning all about animals hands-on every day.
Each daily schedule is carefully designed to be fun, active, and age-appropriate, blending animal learning with creativity and outdoor activities. Campers get to spend a good portion of their camp day up close with animals, handling and interacting with them, creating enrichment toys, and learning all about all things furry, feathered, slithery and slimy.
Our camp animals are a heart-centered team of rescued and rehabilitated pets, including everything from friendly pocket pets and feathered companions to fascinating reptiles and charming birds. These animals help us bring important lessons to life, including responsible pet ownership and the lifelong commitment that comes with loving and caring for a pet.
Beyond animal time, campers dive into pet-themed crafts, hands-on enrichment projects, games, and outdoor activities that keep their energy high and their imaginations even higher. Every activity, game, and creative challenge is inspired by animals, nature, and fun, and rooted in real learning.

All campers must be 7 as of December 31 of the camp year in order to participate in this program.
